Ecotert Technologies (Ecotert) is an integrated business entity. It offers products and services in the following three business lines: (1) Consulting: Reservoir engineering and auxiliary geological consulting, (2) Software: Development and delivery (SaaS) of cloud-based software and (3) Advisory: Technical assessment and valuation of heavy oil and bitumen intellectual property. Details of Ecotert's product and services are as follows:

Reservoir_Image Reservoir_Image Ecotert offers customized reservoir engineering and auxiliary geological (RE & AG) consulting services in areas of:
(1) Estimation and evaluation of petroleum resources and reserves based on SPE-PRMS.
(2) Preparation of independent Competent Person Reports for IPOs, acquisitions, mergers and takeovers.
(3) Competitive intelligence and due diligence on reservoir production performances.
(4) Reservoir aspects of front-end project design.
(5) Calibration and history matching of field production data with numerical and analytical tools.
(6) Geochemical data analysis.
(7) Geological data mining and analysis with Sklearn, TensorFlow, Keras and PySpark ML.
(8) Development of cloud-based software applications for geological and well drilling data analysis, visualization, and storage with Node.js®, Python®, Java®, PySpark, Apache Drill, D3.js, MongoDB®, MySQL® (SQL or NoSQL/document store), SQLite, managed Amazon Keyspaces, and Object Storage including, Google Cloud Storage, Azure Blob Storage, Amazon S3, and other S3-Compatible Storage Systems, such as: Linode Object Storage, Backblaze B2 Cloud Storage and CrowdStorage PolyCloud Object Storage.

Ecotert helps clients host these applications on any of the following public cloud platforms: Linode, Vultr, GCP, AWS, Azure, Oracle CI or Digital Ocean. These services are offered at competitive pricing through a dedicated team of experienced petroleum engineers, geoscientists and software engineers.

tub_wind_dre.png_view Ecotert provides Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics in Energy (PPAEnergy™) consulting service for:
1) Health status checks and outage (failure) prediction and prevention of wind turbines and solar panels.
2) Rare events (vibration, kick & stuck pipe) prediction and prevention in oil, gas and geothermal well drilling operations.
3) Optimal siting of wind and solar farms.

We can stream, in real-time, our clients collected sensors (IoT) data onto dedicated cloud-based replicated MongoDB® and MySQL® servers, managed Amazon Keyspaces (for Apache Cassandra ), or Object Storage-Based Data Lakes. Our cloud-based AI/ML software allows us to run Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics on these data in real-time and stream the results to dashboards for our clients continuous real-time monitoring over the web. The AI/ML software can also be used for prediction of optimal site locations of proposed wind and solar farms.

URPPS_SEPD_view URPPS_SEPD_view Ecotert offers a cloud-based software application, Unconventional Reservoir Production Performance System - URPPS™, with emphasis on unconventional (viscous/heavy oil and tight/shale) reservoirs. The cloud application leverages the power of modern scalable cloud computing resources and it runs over extensible, optimized and secure protocols. The application was built almost entirely with Node.js®, a JavaScript runtime, with a few components written as C/C++ Addons and Cython (C-Extensions for Python).

The event-driven, non-blocking I/O model and the clustering capability of Node.js®; in combination with data exchange over extensible, optimized and secure protocols; enable fast, scalable, high performance, secure and efficient running of URPPS™. Core application computation engines run inside cloud servers, on Linode Cloud Platform and Google Cloud Platform. The user interface (UI) runs in the browser with tight coupling, with computation engines, into a single application using cloud-hosted MongoDB®, Memored and Ajax to provide, respectively: data storage; in-memory Cluster sessions management; and dynamic display and data exchange within the application. These make the application runs and appears as a unified single application to the end user, just like any standard desktop application. The cloud application has several modules that are accessible via the latest version of any web browser. For best performance and secure login, the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge browsers are recommended, with Chrome being the topmost preference. Modules of URPPS™ include:

(1) Steam-assisted gravity drainage (SAGD) analytical simulator for viscous reservoirs.
(2) Stretched exponential decline (SEPD) simulator for tight reservoirs.
(3) Hydraulically fractured horizonal well (HFH-W™) analytical simulator for tight reservoirs.
